90 inch
coil sprung Forward Control

This little
oddity started life as a Series IIB. It is built on a 90 chassis, with the
front dumb irons, and chassis bracing from the original cut to length, and
welded on top.
A
Defender under seat fuel tank sits in the usual position on the offside of the
chassis, giving away it’s origins some.
Power
comes from a 200Tdi running through an R380, and LT230 transfer box. Low ratio
is only selectable by getting out, lifting the gearbox cover, and moving the
lever from outside the cab.
It is
however and extremely capable machine, and it’s current owner uses it as her
everyday car, and amongst other things uses it for doing the weekly shopping.
