M – Snow White

Snow
White was formerly am HCB Angus Firefly conversion, built in 1968 and left the
factory as a 2.6 Chassis cab to go to the HCB Angus factory.
After
conversion it was put into service with the Army Fire Service.
After
De-mob it was converted into a Breakdown truck, it has a crane mounted in the
cut down rear body, whilst the storage lockers were used for breakdown equipment.
The
truck, known as Snow White due to its colour, is owned by Ian Rumsey, an avid
Forward Control Enthusiast who also owns a 2.25 Diesel IIB known as Brian.
Ian
Purchased it in 2005, and had to bring it home form the other end of the
country, a new rear crossmember and a few other tidying jobs had her MOT’d and
usable.
Snow
white can now often be found at Series 2 Club events during the summer season.
