This
Forward Control is one of six owned by Jeremy, and one of 2 HCB Angus Fire
appliances.
This particular
vehicle finished its working life as a Helicopter Crash response vehicle, and
is still fully kitted out for that task.
I’m
told that helicopter crashes have very low survival rates, so the truck also
carries a full compliment of body bags, alongside the rest of the firefighting
equipment on board.

vehicle has a much quieter life since its retirement, having, amongst other
things been used on the
It is
currently laid up awaiting attention after water pump problems. Once this has
been sorted out it is hoped it might find its way back into semi-regular use.
